What’s even crazier is that vegans also have a 45% lower risk of dying from heart disease.Īnd then there is cancer. Compared to meat eaters vegans have a staggering 75% lower risk of developing high blood pressure. These benefit the heart, skin, eyes, and immune system.Ī plant based diet also dramatically lowers your risk of heart disease. Other bonuses of a plant based diet include higher amounts of antioxidants, potassium, magnesium, folate and vitamins A, C and E. This leads to reduced levels of inflammation which provide protective health benefits. Added fiber results in fewer pathobionts and more protective species. ![]() Firstly, plant based diets are much higher in fiber, which has great gut benefits. And a more oxygenated environment leads to increased energy (and increased brain activity as well!) Speaking of plants, what are the benefits of a plant based / plant powered diet? However, after drinking chlorophyll your body is able to give your blood cells more oxygen. I wouldn’t say it gives you energy like drinking a cup of coffee will give you energy. Would you consider liquid chlorophyll and chlorophyll water a natural plant-powered source of energy? I’d suggest 100–300 milligrams of chlorophyllin daily. The easiest way is probably to add a liquid chlorophyll supplement to your water. Promotes anti-aging and glowing skin What is the best way to incorporate a chlorophyll supplement into a daily routine? Increase and refresh red blood cells in the body Helps your liver function which improves detoxification Fights carcinogens What does liquid chlorophyll do in the body? High in vitamin K, C, E, A (These vitamins are great for a ton of different activities in the body including blood clotting, boosting the immune system, healthy cardiovascular system, aiding in healthy vision, and many more. What are the nutritional benefits of liquid chlorophyll?Īntioxidant Powerhouse (fights free radicals which can cause cancer) The other differences are that chlorophyllin is water soluble and chlorophyll is not water soluble meaning chlorophyllin is more easily absorbed. This makes chlorophyll able to survive the harsh ph in our human guts whereas chlorophyll cannot. The main difference when it comes to their atomic structures is that the center atom in chlorophyllin is copper instead of magnesium and the phytol tail is lost. Is there any difference between liquid chlorophyll and chlorophyllin? As mentioned before chlorophyllin is a substance that is derived from chlorophyll but is able to withstand our gut’s harsh environment. However, chlorophyll needs primarily alkaline conditions or it will essentially die off and be useless to the human body. ![]() The ph levels (acidity) levels in our guts are quite high. I’ve read that liquid chlorophyll may be more effective and beneficial than chlorophyll, as chlorophyll doesn’t survive digestion long enough for absorption, would you agree? If so, please explain. Chlorophyllin is also water soluble meaning the nutrients can very easily be absorbed and used by your body. ![]() The reason natural chlorophyll is not used is because it cannot survive a human body's digestive process. Chlorophyllin is actually derived from chlorophyll except it has been synthetically changed to have a copper atom instead of magnesium. Liquid chlorophyll is actually chlorophyllin. Chlorophyll is responsible for the action of photosynthesis which is the process in which plants absorb light from the sun and turn it into energy. There are so many AMAZING benefits to drinking Chlorophyll Water! It helps your liver function which improves detoxification, fights carcinogens, increases energy, helps to balance hormones, aids in weight loss and also fights cravings, reduces inflammation, increases and refreshes your body’s red blood cells, natural internal deodorizer, and promotes anti-aging and glowing skin. Radiation treatment of the regional undissected lymph nodesĮ. Post-mastectomy radiation to the left chest wallĭ. Re-excision and axillary lymph node dissectionĬ. Which of the following represents the best next step in management for this patient?ī. Postoperative staging positron emission tomography (PET)/CT scans showed two suspicious foci in the left axilla (Figure 5). The cancer was estrogen receptor– and progesterone receptor–positive and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2/ neu–negative (stage IIA, rT1b, N1, M0). The two lymph nodes that were removed were both positive for metastatic carcinoma in one, the cancerous deposit measured 1.3 cm, and in the other, 1.6 cm (Figure 4). The lesion was associated with high–nuclear grade DCIS, and displayed solid and cribriform growth patterns with associated comedonecrosis and microcalcifications. The carcinoma was grade 2, with lymphovascular space invasion. The final pathology report showed a 0.9-cm invasive ductal carcinoma with marked lymphoplasmacytic response, and resection margins positive for invasive carcinoma. She had a left wire-guided lumpectomy and excision of two lymph nodes. Imaging and biopsy revealed invasive ductal carcinoma and high-grade DCIS (Figure 3). One year after her initial diagnosis, the patient noted a palpable abnormality in the left reconstructed breast, at the 2 o’clock position. Six months after her mastectomy, she underwent expander exchange and placement of silicone implants. Left sentinel lymph node excision was negative for carcinoma. Margins showed no DCIS involvement the closest margin was 1.4 mm. The two foci of disease demonstrated a predominantly solid pattern, with focal micropapillary and comedo patterns. The pathology report showed two foci of high-grade DCIS, with the larger of these approximately 20 mm in size (Figure 2). With the superior lesion as the only site of disease, she was an excellent candidate for lumpectomy however, she opted for bilateral mastectomy and left sentinel lymph node biopsy, followed by tissue expander placement. No known mutations were found, but four variants of uncertain significance were identified in the APC gene. ![]() The patient underwent genetic counseling and testing. The DCIS specimen stained positive for estrogen receptor (3+, 90%) and progesterone receptor (3+, 75%). The posterior site showed high–nuclear grade ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) with comedonecrosis. Three sites of calcifications were biopsied. The follow-up mammogram showed pleomorphic calcifications spanning 1.5 cm (Figure 1). A diagnostic mammogram showed several small punctate calcifications, and a 6-month interval follow-up was recommended. However, patients who present with clinical findings of palpability, large extent of disease on imaging and mass on preoperative imaging have a meaningful risk of upstaging to invasive cancer, and SLNB remains important for management.A 46-year-old woman had a routine screening mammogram that showed new calcifications in the posterior left breast. I also felt that the end result of any activity came from the sum of its inputs. My belief was that we should give our 100% in everything, rather than pick things to focus on. I used to write off the 80/20 rule because I felt it was at odds with my perfectionist self. 80/20 is about choosing to make the most impact with your limited time on Earth. But when you don’t apply the 80/20, you are already choosing - you are choosing against the high-impact tasks that could benefit enormously from your attention and focus. Some people resist the 80/20 because they don’t want to choose. Misconception #6: 80/20 is about being mercenary. It can be found in our relationships, beliefs, goals, habits (20% of habits will make the biggest difference), and health (20% of actions will make the biggest difference to our health). It can be found in sports, science, software, medicine, and more. While 80/20 gained popularity in the business world, it can be found in almost everything in life. Misconception #5: It only applies to business. It’s about using your limited energy to create the maximum impact, rather than being haphazard and unstrategic in the way you do things. When you use the 80/20, you think about the areas where you can make the most impact so that you can focus on them. Misconception #4: 80/20 is about being lazy. ![]() The percentage of causes and the percentage of effects do not have to add up to 100. The reality is that it can be 70/20, 90/30, etc. When Pareto made the connection, it was regarding the distribution of wealth in Italy, where 20% of people owned 80% of the land. 80% represents the effects while 20% represents the causes. Misconception #3: The numbers should add up to 100.The point is that a small percentage of inputs leads to a large percentage of results. Maybe 4 of the tasks contribute to 90% of the results. Maybe you have 3 tasks that contribute to 80% of the results. It doesn’t mean that there must be precisely 2 tasks (20% of the 10 tasks) of high value. So say you have 10 tasks on your to-do list. As I mentioned in Part 1, It just happened that Pareto’s observation was 80-20 (rather than 70-20). Misconception #2: It must be precisely 80/20.The 80/20 rule is about spending more time on the important, spending less time on the unimportant (by automating, batching, delegating, etc.), and eliminating the tasks with almost no value (not doing them will not make a difference). Not doing them will create significant negative downsides. For example, washing laundry and paying the bills. Some tasks are low-value but need to be done. Misconception #1: 80/20 means eliminating all unimportant tasks. When teaching the 80/20 rule in my classes, I notice some common misconceptions about it. Use callouts, arrows, shapes, lower thirds, etc., to highlight important points and sections in your video. ![]() ![]()

But first, we’ll take a look at some of the top optimal compatible modems on the market. ![]() These characteristics will be discussed more in the “Buying Guide” section. While these are the top three most crucial characteristics to never overlook, there are plenty of other important items to consider. Consider the design and construction for convenience. Furthermore, the inclusion of LEDs aids in understanding the network condition. Plastic construction is a good choice since it reduces overheating. Heat dissipation necessitates the use of these vents. Always search for modems with solid bases and well-proportioned vents. Now, when selecting the most optimal compatible modem, you must consider not only technology and internet speed but also the build and design of these items. To ensure uninterrupted data transmission, select a suitable and comparable DOCSIS technology. If you are unsure whether your area is utilizing 3.1 or 3.0, contact customer support. As a result, you must confirm the modem technology once more. Many cities employ DOCSIS 3.1 nevertheless, the majority of the best lines use 3.0.
